Parents and Guardians

Parents and guardians automatically receive alerts through the contact information located in PowerSchool. If you are not receiving alerts, make sure your contact information is correct in PowerSchool, and that you have selected that you have custody of your student, or that the student lives with you.

Steps to update contact information in PowerSchool from a web browser on your phone or computer:

  1. Sign in to your PowerSchool Parent account.

  2. Click Forms from the left navigation menu. If you don't have a menu on the left, look for the small gray tab to display the menu.

  3. Open the Student Contacts Update form.

  4. Click the three dots on the contact card to edit.

  5. Ensure the information is correct and Lives with Student or Has Custody is selected.

Steps to update contact information in the PowerSchool app:

  1. Open the PowerSchool app.

  2. Click More.

  3. Click Forms.

  4. Open the Student Contacts Update form.

  5. Click the three dots on the contact card to edit.

  6. Ensure the information is correct and Lives with Student or Has Custody is selected.

Students and Community Members

Any student, family member, or community member can receive alerts by downloading the Lathrop R-II Mules app in the Apple store or Google Play store. Manage notifications for the groups you want to receive alerts for in the app settings.
