Lathrop Elementary School

Mrs. Poindexter spent 30 years working in special education before retiring in July of 2025. She joined us later last year and we’re glad to have her back! She values working alongside teachers and families to develop plans that help students meet their goals. Building relationships and working together to meet the individual needs of students is very important to her. Outside of school, Mrs. Poindexter enjoys camping, spending time at the lake, and cheering on her children in their favorite sports. She’s excited to serve our students and families!
