Vaccine Requirements by Grade

Preschool

  • DTAP, PCV: 4 doses

  • IPV: 3 doses

  • MMR, Varicella: 1 dose

  • Hepatitis B, HIB: 3 doses


Kindergarten

  • DTAP: 4 doses, last after age 4

  • IPV: 3 doses, last after age 4

  • MMR, Varicella: 1 dose

  • Hepatitis B: 3 doses


8th Grade

  • TdaP: 1 dose

  • Meningococcal: 1 dose


12th Grade

  • Meningococcal: 2 doses

School Year Preparation and Guidelines

As we prepare for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, we want to remind you that all students must have up-to-date immunizations or a state approved exemption form on file as required by the state of Missouri, before starting school.

Immunization records the school currently has on file can be viewed in PowerSchool. You may submit an updated immunization record by uploading a copy into PowerSchool, emailing it to your school nurse, or bringing a copy into school.

Upcoming Vaccine Clinic: The Clinton County Health Department will be at Lathrop Middle School August 13, 2026 from 4pm-7pm to give the above vaccines to middle and high school students. Please contact your school nurse with any questions.
