At 2:42 p.m. as a safety precaution and under advisement from local law enforcement officials, all buildings in the Lathrop R-II School District were placed on lockdown. The lockdown was lifted at 2:57 p.m. The situation did not involve any of the Lathrop R-II buildings or students. All students were and are safe. Due to other team not having enough players, the GBB game has been cancelled for tonight.
The BBB game will now tip off at approx 7:00 vs Gallatin in the Hamilton Classic at Penney High School.
Due to weather forecast, the Lathrop Wrestling Tournament will be cancelled for Sat. 1/24. Senior Night festivities will take place prior to district matches at 4:45 on Fri, Feb 20.
