K-8 Summer School Information:

We are excited to welcome students back for another fun and engaging summer school session beginning Tuesday, May 26! Summer school will run Tuesday through Friday each week through Friday, June 26. Summer school hours are 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Your child’s summer school teacher should be written on their grade card today. Please keep this information handy for the first day.

Kindergarten Parents:
On the first day only, kindergarten parents may walk their child into the building and take them to the gym to meet their teacher. Beginning after the first day, we will ask kindergarten students to begin learning the regular arrival routine by coming through the car line independently. At that time, parents will no longer be able to walk students into the building. Staff members will be available to help students find their classroom if needed.

All Other Students:
Students in grades 1-5 will walk into the building independently each day. Staff members will be available to help students find their classroom on the first day if needed.
Students in grades 6-8 will attend classes at the district office building. They will be entering through the north doors.

If your child will be attending a Lathrop School District camp during the school day, both leaving and returning with the group, that absence will not count against summer school attendance. All other absences will count against attendance for the summer school incentive gift cards.

The summer school lunch menu can be found at https://www.lathropschools.com/o/lathrop-r-ii/page/meals.

We are looking forward to a great month of learning, fun activities, and making wonderful summer memories with your students!
