Come join us Thursday from 5:30–7:00 for Lathrop Elementary’s Art Show, plus family PE and Title Reading activities. The book fair will be open in the library as well.

Due to the weather and limited availability of volunteers because of the conditions, Lathrop Ag Day scheduled for tomorrow, March 16, will be canceled.

LES Spring Class and Individual Photos will be taken tomorrow, March 5. Flyers were sent home with students, but a copy is attached here in case you need another one.

Due to tomorrow’s weather forecast, the Musical Mules concert for Winter Wonderland has been moved to the elementary cafeteria. The performance will still begin at 5:00 PM. Musical Mules students should arrive at 4:45, which is when the building doors will open. We look forward to seeing you there!

The Winter Wonderland Activities Group is excited to host a Princess Contest for girls in K-5th grade on Saturday, 12/13. All participants need to do to enter is come to the Winter Wonderland festivities, dressed in their cutest attire, and sign up at the event booth. Don’t miss the fun and the chance to be crowned a Winter Wonderland Princess.

Good evening! Due to some poor road conditions, Lathrop R-2 will not be in session on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. This day will be made up on Monday, December 8, 2025. Thank you!

Dear Parents,
The dentist is coming to school! Big Smiles dental program is coming to our school district November 20th and 21st. You can sign up online at www.MySchoolDentist.com. Most dental insurances, including Medicaid, cover 100 percent of the services that are provided. Ask us about financial assistance if needed. Services include cleaning and x-rays, fluoride treatment, and sealants as necessary. A dental report card will be sent home with your child.

Please sign up by November 18th and call your school nurse if you have any questions.
