CORRECTION: LHS SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM WILL START ON TUESDAY, NOT MONDAY.
Parents, if your child failed a class 1st semester or if it looks like they are going to fail a class 2nd semester you can go ahead and enroll them in our in-house summer school program at LHS. It will start on Monday. This is a great way to recover high school credits and NOT have to retake the entire class again. Mr. Mudd will be running the high school credit recovery program so if you have any questions you can contact him at rick.mudd@lathropschools.com or feel free to call the high school office at 816-710-6116 and Mrs. Hutchcraft or Mr. Bowers can give you more information. The class of 2026 graduation ceremony will now be in the LHS gym instead of the football field due to potential high winds on Sunday. The front doors will open at 1:00 p.m. and the ceremony will start at 2:00. Thank you, Mr. Bowers.
Due to bus transportation issues the career center bus will not leave until 7:25 tomorrow. The career center has been notified. The bus will leave from the back of the building where the teachers park. STUDENTS, DO NOT PARK BACK THERE. MR. BOWERS WILL LET YOU WALK THROUGH THE BUILDING. Thanks.
