The weather is changing and we are headed for much colder temperatures soon. I want to remind everyone of our outside recess policies. We want to take students outside for fresh air any chance we can, within the guidelines provided below.
Please remind your child to wear weather appropriate clothing each day.
If you child needs a hat, gloves, or a coat please let us know.
Also, Daylight Savings ends this weekend, fall back 1 hour on Sunday.
Using the current "Feels Like" temperature for Lathrop, Missouri according to www.weather.com
Outside recess will be conducted if:
The "Feels Like" temperature is between 30-90 degrees and there is no falling precipitation.
Limited outside recess will be conducted if:
The "Feels Like" temperature is between 20-29 or 90-99 degrees and there is no falling precipitation.
(Limited outside recess is shortened to limit exposure to cold or hot temperatures)
No outside recess will be conducted if:
The "Feels Like" temperature is 19 degrees or below or 100 degrees and above.

Lathrop Elementary will not be having our annual Veteran's Day assembly this year due to Covid precautions. We want to thank all of our Veterans and those current and former members of the military for their service to our country. Our 4th grade has a Veteran's Day program we will record and post on our Facebook page for our community to enjoy.

MS Football players need to bring all equipment to the MS Commons area today at 4pm. We will have Pizza and Water for the team. All equipment must be checked in before you can participate in a winter sport competition.
