Tonight at Lathrop High School we have a lot going on for our kids and parents. If you are new to the district you are invited to attend our new student orientation in the LHS library at 5:30. Mr. Dutcher, Mrs. Hutchcraft, Mrs. Rupert, and myself will go over a few key items to help your child be successful at LHS.
The LHS Open House will be from 6:00-7:00 p.m. tonight. It is a very relaxed atmosphere where you and your child can walk the hallways and meet all our teachers. If you do not know your child's schedule, please make sure you log into PowerSchool so you can access the schedule because we will not have hard copies of schedules to pass out.
Attention all 9th grade parents/students: Tonight you can pick up your Chromebook, case, and charger in the library from 6:00-7:00 during open house. YOU HAVE TO COMPLETE THE AUP FORM ON POWERSCHOOL IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE CHROMEBOOK SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE REGISTERED YOUR CHILD ON POWERSCHOOL BEFORE ATTENDING TONIGHT'S OPEN HOUSE.
Starting at 7:00 we will be hosting a "Meet the Mules" night in the gym. We will be recognizing all the Fall sports teams. After the introductions we will be hosting our sport specific parent meetings.

Good morning LHS students/parents.
I wanted to let you know that the online registration is open for Lathrop High School starting today. You can do everything online by going to https://www.lathropschools.com/o/lhs/page/registration.
If your child needs to make a schedule change they can do this by filling out the Schedule Change Request Form, which is located in the Daily Bulletin on PowerSchool.
If your child wants to meet with Mrs. Hutchcraft and discuss a schedule change, she will be available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday next week (August 6, 7, and 9th) from 9-11, and 1-3.
Parents, if you do not want to pay lunch/breakfast or class/club fees online, you can pay by cash/check next week Tuesday-Friday (August 6-9) from 8-3:30.

The last day to sign up to take the July ACT without late fees is TOMORROW! If you are taking DC English I/II, DC Chemistry, College Algebra, you must have a qualifying ACT score on file in order to get the college credit. *You can still take the class for high school credit only without a score.
Chem = 22 on math section of ACT
DC English = 15 w/3.6 or greater GPA
DC Algebra = 22 on math section of ACT (Mr. Meister can give a placement exam if you do not qualify)

The LHS graduation ceremony will be at on the LHS Football Field on Sunday, 5/19/24 at 2:00 p.m. The gates will open up at 1:00 p.m. Seniors need to be in the multi purpose building at 1:30 p.m. There will be seating available in the bleachers, but if you prefer to sit in a lawn chair, feel free to bring one and you can sit in the designated areas that are blocked off with our track hurdles on each side of the staging area. The seniors will start walking across the football field along the 50 yard line for the processional march at 2:00! It looks like it will be a nice warm day on Sunday! Fingers crossed!!!!
The district baseball games for tonight, May 13, have been postponed until Tuesday. First game is at 5pm. Mules will play approximately 7:00pm
